[AP] In a move that has industrial analysts scratching their heads, Apple Computers has filed suit against Apple Computers Corporation. The company claims that Apple has violated the Look and Feel of their own machines which has helped to make the company famous.

An Apple Spokesperson stated "This is no joke. If we don't protect our copyrighted interface, everyone will use it and we could lose the exclusive right. So it is in our best interests to sue anyone who uses the Macintosh Look and Feel, including ourselves." The spokesperson says Apple has retained the prestigious LA law firm of Kukla, Fran and Ollie to spearhead the lawsuit. Apple's in house lawyers will defend.

Long time Apple observer Ernest Dinklefwat stated that this is a sure sign that Apple has too many lawyers and not enough engineers. "In the old days Apple depended on its talented engineers to keep ahead of the competition, but now they have lost the edge, as well as their grasp on reality."

The industry will be sure to watch this case closely. If Apple wins the suit against itself, this could mean a massive recall of all Macintosh and Lisa computers which will need to be converted to avoid all graphics and desktop metaphors and instead provide a simple terminal-like interface. Such a move would cause a massive digression in the personal computer market. Now, since my mind is soo locked into thinking the word sounds like "drownd" when spoken, it's going to feel weird saying "drown"... just doesn't sound right to me. A friend in our group passed away last week due to carbon-monoxide poisoning. It happened when she lighted an aroma theraputic candle for the night in a room with the air-conditioner ON. Due to subsequent lack of oxygen in the room, the burning of the candle cannot fully oxidize,thus forming dangerous carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide will prevent oxygen exchange in the lungs, resulting in the person dozing off into a state of unconsciousness & eventual death in less than an hour, depending on the room size.

I saw a lady at work today putting a credit card into her floppy drive and pulling it out very quickly. I inquired as to what she was doing and she said she was shopping on the internet, and they asked for a credit card number, so she was using the ATM "thingy".

I was at sleep away camp and there was a really bad storm. Eventually we lost power and most of my friends went scrambling for our flashlights. My best friend at camp (sadly), shouted, "Oh no! Since we don't have electricity our flashlights won't work!" It took awhile, but we managed to explain to her that flashlights run on batteries. I'm still not sure she gets it, but someday she'll understand.

One time my friend on the other end of the street was playing around in the kitchen when he decided it would be a good a idea to try and scare his dog with his black and decker dough mixer. So he put it on turbo speed and aimed it at the dog who started to run away. To prove to the dog that it was harmless he attempted to stop the blades with his hand. His fingers got bent back to his wrist before the mixer gave up and he had to turn it off and run it back manually to pull his fingers out.

To prove just how smart the people who work for McDonalds are I told my friend that I would order a cheeseburger without cheese to find out what the guy would say. He did just what I thought he would do, he called back to the grill for a cheeseburger with no cheese instead of handing me a burger off the warmer. The guy working the grill didn't catch on either, because he wrapped it in a special wrapper instead of suggesting that he give me a regular hamburger.

Once my aunt had a terrible headache so she took an aspirin and soon felt better. Later that day she was looking for a button that had fallen off her blouse. She didn't find the button but she found an aspirin in her pocket!
